One reason we speak out so strongly is for patients that need to know, as the medical establishment is slow to embrace this wonderful medicine.We are also excited about our representatives here in Florida, both state and Congressional, who see the need to protect patients who need Cannabis. Change is on the wind!

Aug 3, 2008 - There is also new evidence that suggests that cannabis can actually KILL cancer. Can you imagine all of the cancer patients who are sick and sometimes even die because of the current treatments for cancer such as chemo and radiation? If cannabis were developed into a treatment, then they could actually FEEL GOOD while they get better. The ridiculousness of the use of a miracle flower being illegal is evidence of our government's corrupt intentions. I wish I held some power so I could help you...

Aug 3, 2008 - Anything that grows as a plant should be out of the prohibitive regulation of government; save the preservation of endangered plants.When you look at most medications that honestly list the ingredients; many of them include various plants or plant parts.When the People are allowed to use many of the ancient herbal remedies, lots of the CAUSES for the systems are corrected.Unfortunately, modern US medicine focuses on treating the symptoms NOT the cause. Then treating side-effects.

Aug 17, 2008 - I think i must have written my congressman about it at least one time. Although i have not had any cannibis for the longest time, it has always been one of my favorite things. Lately it seems like i have only been critical of the government hierarchy and all the messed up stuff it has been doing including invasion and killing all those people in Iraq and on 911. If i was high i probably wouldn't do that, but since i am not i tend to harang on the bizarre stuff they try to make us believe.

Aug 26, 2008 - I would like to correct you in the right way to say ALS. I have it too, diagnosed March 2008. It is called AMYOTROPHIC lateral sclerosis not ARTERIAL. When you are discussing an illness and it is presented incorrectly, people might question the validity, they may say that if they can't say it right, maybe they don't have it. please don't take offence to my suggestion, I just know how important it is when trying to convince the public. Would you trust a doctor that can't say physician?

Jul 17, 2008 - I understand your situation and how upsetting it can be but ... If you truly want safe access, bring your wife to one of the states that have legalized cannabis. Like california where it has been legal for over a decade. I have about 190 despenseries within a 100 mile radius.I hope things improve for you soon.
