Garden variety tomatoes, cukes, zuccinni, potatoes, string beans. Tradition for us to plant on and around "Decoration Day" or Memorial Day as called now. Tip of the day: Plant your tomatoes deep! Jun 2, 2008 - Have just resubscribed. Lost you for awhile there. I love your stuff. Steely Dan,It's a Beautiful Day, Jim Reeves, The Amboy Dukes{before}. You and I have had some of the same experiences in life thats for sure. I'll bet we are very similar in age. Did you ever just know that you would automatically be friends with someone? Its how I feel about you.
VickieBurns2 Says:
Jun 2, 2008 - Hi there! I remember you! yeah, Youtube deleted my last account. Wow, i had totally forgotten about the amboy dukes vid. that one got lost when i got deleted. But now that you've reminded me of it, i'll have to remake it! I am so glad you found me. i agree.. our friendship was meant to be! Hey, i looked at your profile and i don't know if that's your real age. If so, then I'm NOT your age.. not even close, LOL. I'm 53.
winnross Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - I don't know anything about the profile. I suspect it's about my wife who is the real computer nerd. She is 44, but I am 55, so you and I are close in age. I knew it. She rarely if ever knows any of my favorite musicians, and even more rarely, likes them. I'll take a wild guess that your parents loved Jim Reeves, and you came to a greater appreciation later in life. Almost all my friends when I was young would be 53 now, so you fit right in. I will be watching with great interest, friend.

Jun 3, 2008 - By the way, I do have this album in my closet but I haven't had a turntable in 20 years. I'm positive you would recognize just about every one in the collection. It's wonderful to hear songs from it. Can you do Tennessee Stud by Doc? One of the world's greatest, and most underappreciated, performers. I do have a vid of Doc performing it, but the Circle version is the best that I've heard.
VickieBurns2 Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - Wow! See... we were meant to be friends! LOL, i already haver that song downloaded to my puter and it's been sitting in my to-do file. I'll get on it soon. i absolutely LOVE that one.I had the old 8 track. But i now have the CD. :-)
VickieBurns2 Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - oh.. lol. Then i bet we are close to the same age.
VickieBurns2 Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - Oh! Just now reading this! I'm a little slow... lol. That's what happens when ya pass 50!
VickieBurns2 Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - Oh, and YES, my parents had Jim Reeves, and yes, i didn't appreciate him until later in life. Same goes for Marty Robbins and a few others.
winnross Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - If you like Jim Reeves, try Don Gibson's [ Sea of Heartbreak ]. You'll love it.
VickieBurns2 Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - thanks. I'll look for it.
