Jul 23, 2008 - I was pleasantly shocked and pleased to have the privilege of viewing that little coat (made out of many different colors of corduroy) earlier this month. I had always believed the song to be a true story, but had never dreamed that the coat had been preserved. Anyone visiting Dollywood can take a free trip through the "Chasing Rainbows Museum" and view the coat and the original text of the song, written on back of what appears to be two dry cleaning receipts.
