Aug 8, 2008 - currently I am running off of onboard sound from my motherboardI run the z-5500 speakers through the surround sound and then plug the HD555's into the headphone jack on the control for the surround soundThe Z-5500 are used for primarily gaming and I dont thin I will ever buy another pair of headphones...I never miss the sound of footsteps across a map (despite my onboard sound card)
