Saturday 19/05/08 saw only four of the remaining Paxman Valenta Powercars operating on Summer Saturday Holiday Services for Arriva CrossCountry. Here are the runnings:1E46 1032 Paignton - Newcastle (NXEC Set)43 307 + 43 3671V49 0940 Newcastle - Newquay (XC Set)43 166 + 43 1781E47 0941 Newquay - Edinburgh (XC Set)43 301 (New XC Livery) + 43 1041M28 1522 Newquay - Manchester (NXEC Set)43 238 + 43 110 'Stirlingshire'Featuring the newly liveried 43 301, looking very shiney indeed! Filmed around Oddingley and Tibberton, south of the Lickey incline in Worcestershire. 2tones and Horns included, all the usual stuff you'd expect from a Valenta, thrash scream and clag! XC HST's carrying ex-Midland Mainline Livery. 43 110 'Stirlingshire' was awesome!
