Aug 18, 2008 - yeah, usually ESP guitars use an "original" floyd rose, and LTD guitars use an ESP low profile, which is what he's using.
gibson482 Says:
Aug 18, 2008 - ESP and LTD are the same company,,,there are just called ESP LTD M100
alpha1shadow Says:
Aug 19, 2008 - yeah, but LTD is like the budget ESP, and they're made with budget parts, but i know that they're the same company. It's like Squier by Fender.
gibson482 Says:
Aug 19, 2008 - yea but i dont think soo,,, but this one is an ESP,,and LTD its got ESP and LTD written on it,, and i dont think so, cuz like in magiazines they dont got them seperated, like they seperate gibson and epiphone and fender and squire
jompa1239 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - i have the ltd with floyd. i think ita a real floyd rose, but its a cheaper version. ive not tuned mine since i got it 5 months ago. so it works ok
alpha1shadow Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - i know, they really try to blend them in with each other, because they both play great, but the stuff used isn't the best quality, which is why ltd comes out cheaper than most ESPs.
alpha1shadow Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - i guess you're lucky then, because usually licensed stuff isn't the same as the real thing.
gibson482 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - yea but my cuzin got the ESP LTD EC 50, you know the cheaper les paul type guitar, and that thing is amazing, its got awsome pickups and just plays great
alpha1shadow Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - because they both play pretty much the same (ESP and LTD), but the matierials on LTD guitars are cheaper.

Aug 22, 2008 - he knows hardly anything about guitars.he knows a few simple chords and junkhe sucks at lead too. his technique is shit.and hes like, whammy bar (thats not the true name), its called, neck and bridge pickups, not bottom and top, and hes like, oh its a floyd rose tuning system, locking tuning system, what the fuck, its a floyd rose locking TREMOLO system. oh welldecent review
gibson482 Says:
Aug 23, 2008 - yea but to me, as long as they both play good, idc what its made of
izzyshreds Says:
Aug 24, 2008 - LTD is like Epiphone because there guitars are for people with a low budget cut..ESP is like Gibnson because everything is kinda expensive
Garcia148 Says:
Sep 3, 2008 - wtf kind of solo was that?
yobot462 Says:
Sep 5, 2008 - Yeah he does know shit about guitars. I came here for a half decent review for this guitar as I just ordered it a few days ago.
lucasguitarrist Says:
Sep 9, 2008 - ehm.. why is there a guy that does not how to play guitar making a guitar review???
Cryptoyourisan Says:
Sep 12, 2008 - That - the Floyd Rose - would help your guitar stay in tune if ESP didn't give you a God-awful tremolo in the first place. I took the lo-profile version of the same tremolo off an M-200 and replaced it with an Original Floyd Rose. You can hear how bad the tuning on that guitar is on this video.
SRVisthebest Says:
Sep 14, 2008 - Why do ESP guitars have LTD on the headstock?
A7XAvA Says:
Sep 16, 2008 - ltd guitars are still esp guitars but cheaper than a standard esp dont fool yourself the difer on minimal characteristics like tuners wood on the neck pups mostly on electronics but ltd kicks ass and esp kiks even more asses
lydnad Says:

johnnylawrason Says:
Sep 26, 2008 - it was a shit solo but it sounded pretty cool
MuchachoC Says:
Sep 26, 2008 - i have one LTD M100FM, and for the price, the guitar is plainly amazingas for the bridge, although the sustain is not that high, the guitar stays in tune even with badass whammy usagethe pickups are GREAT for playing heavy metal and other aggressive styles, but suck in clean mode. Very low noise, and you can get distortion simply turning up the volume of the amplifier. If you want to play without distortion, use an EqualizerI also loved the ESP tuners. The electronics are good also
contraBOT1337 Says:
Sep 27, 2008 - and reversed pointy headstock!
gibson482 Says:
Aug 18, 2008 - yea i guess when you put it that way sure,, but still, not all of the knife edges go dull,,,you just gotta get the right kind
