Jun 26, 2008 - Hi I was wondering since you don't flat iron your hair how do you keep it straight and blending with the weave? I really am going to try the body wash thing I think it's smart!
AllyseAllyKat Says:
Jun 27, 2008 - Sorry for the misunderstanding, because I wear weave, I don't have to flat iron my natural hair because it is protected by the weave. I do however have to flat iron the weave everyday to keep it straight. But if you put hair cream and a scarf on your head at night, then you won't have a hard time blending it without the use of heat.

Jun 30, 2008 - and how often do you wash your hair? cause she said something about not putting any water onto it.. but she wasnt really nice so i know im not goin back to her again, lol. do you go swimming with it?
AllyseAllyKat Says:
Jun 30, 2008 - Yes, hair cream and oil is good because they don't really weigh the hair down. I wash it once a week with the weave in. If the weave isn't in I was it twice a week. You shouldn't put water, heat, or products on it if the weave is synthetic.

Jul 19, 2008 - Correction. Hair grows from the root. However, cutting the end does give your hair that nicely grooming appearance. Hairgrease does clog the pores. Weaves are a great solution to healthy hair as well as coverage for transiting to natural. The shampoo really doesn't matter, although, using Suave on Black folk hair is like using soap. The conditioner is the most important part because is provides the nutrients your hair needs.
AllyseAllyKat Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - I do not think I said anywhere in the video that the hair does not grow from the root. Cutting split ends will stop it from breaking, thus allowing it to grow longer, however hair does not grow from the ends. If I did say hair does not grow from the root in the video somewhere, I apologize for the misunderstanding.
