http://good.is/If we're addicted to oil, our twelve-step program should begin with admitting that we have a problem. As the price of oil creeps higher, finding new energy sources is more important than ever. But the search for alternatives, combined with environmental disruptions, is putting new pressures on other essentials like food. There are some things that are going well in the world. Right now, the economy is not one of them. Nov 18, 2008 - Perhaps your points would be better made if u spent more of your comment with facts, than shitty personal attacks that plague internet forums the world over.Russia Found oil on Sakhalin. Cuba says it found 21 Billion barrels off its coast. Thats how much oil the US has. Brazil found a 500 million barrel field off its coast. Note the lack of generic statements, i gave u numbers, facts. Those help.Thanks.

Nov 18, 2008 - I'm not posting a reply to you simply because you managed to say that I hadn't shown any evidence. Even though I showed figures which sum up how illogical your idea is.After you said that I thought... theres no getting through to you at all. I can actually write an essay on your proposed idea with 100's of flaws. But I don't have the time. The evidence for writing it already exists. I'd just be doing the research. I clearly proved that your idea couldn't be put into place with figures.

YouTellMeGG Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No further conclusions need be drawn up. 11.1% of the US's GDP. What else can I say or what else is there too say? You should understand it can't be done but clearly you still believe it can be. Don't think I can't write the essay, I don't feel the need to write one. Especially one where I need to persuade someone who thinks 1.5 trillion dollars isn't a lot and by "media" I meant sci-fi movies.By the way, you said I can only talk tough. What else should I do to express my thoughts about this

YouTellMeGG Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I appreciate how you have given the facts but if you go to previous pages you'll see that I have indeed provided figures to back up my suggestion about why his idea is not going to work but it gets fustrating when theres no understanding. I actually know the facts but havn't bothered researching the numbers, this is because it would have made no difference to what this is all about. My statement was meant to show how renewables arent worth it and how supply and demand won't change for a while.

Shugosaurus Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - 42 dollars doesn't sound right. It hasn't been there low in ages. Well, no matter how low it is, OPEC is reducing production to hike up prices.
