This is a great collaboration; David, a friend I made right here on YouTube, sent me this video. It's a transfer from a film his great uncle, Conrad Bowden, shot in 1947 of the parade and firemen's muster in Essex, Massachusetts. I was so psyched to have the chance to mess with it in Final Cut. This is my first pass at it. I flipped it back into the right direction, dropped a lot of the red, and pushed up the brightness and contrast.
