Nov 19, 2008 - It's ironic that in the USA, where separation of church and state is guaranteed by the constitution, politicians pander to religious organisations and presidential candidates make a show of their supposed religious beliefs, whereas in the UK, where the head of state is also the head of the established church, a political leader who made a great show of their religious beliefs would be regarded with suspicion almost as if they were deranged.

Religion is not a positive, it's a negative.There shouldn't be any surprise at all that Christians and Muslims have much in common - their world views are both based upon the same falsehoods, only the details are different. Of course, socially Muslim socieities are several centuries behind Christian ones in terms of rights, law, tolerance, etc.What "myths" are there about Sharia?
