Nov 18, 2008 - that must have been awkward cause they went out.like WENT out.

Tigerlily21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - That train station scene is one of the most beautiful pieces of acting I've ever seen in a film. It's stayed with me since I first saw it. The way she floats towards him and the look on her face. So amazing. It's great to hear Diane speak about it.They dated for awhile and that's such an amazing and sincere speech that it's got to bring back emotions for Beatty and Keaton even if they did move on.

Tigerlily21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - please do. It's one of those truly great films that not enough people saw. I think it's Diane Keaton's best performance. She's the reason I love it so much. And the chemistry between her and Beatty in the film is so powerful.

outinsider Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I just love Diane Keaton in general. Warren Beatty's OK and all, and I do love the romance, but what I almost like best is Maureen Stapleton's Emma Thompson.

Janybody17 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Reds is one of my fave films... it is truly amazing... Great tribute, but Annette looked a bit uncomfortable.

conchatumare24 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - poor annette

terriok1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Who is Diane Keaton's plastic surgeon? She looks better now that she did in her twenties! Also, Warren Beatty!

Tigerlily21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Thompson? You mean she played Emma Goldman (or Goldsmith) I believe. Anyway she was alright but I think overrated, I mean she won the academy award for it and just didn't find her all that special. Diane Keaton on the other hand took my breath away in the movie.

outinsider Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yes, Maureen Stapleton played Emma Goldman. I guess I was thinking Emma Thompson, who is also an excellent actress.

bon1042 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I have it, right at the top of list of favorites, and this scene is just about it for me.

Tigerlily21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - the cool thing about Diane is no plastic surgery! She's one of the few actresses (especially of her age) along with Jodie Foster, and maybe Annette Benning and Frances McDormand who has allowed herself to age naturally. Let her wrinkles form and she looks way better and more natural than the other hollywood actresses of her generation as a result of that.

AdArmand Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I am actually in love with her i think, or the idea of her.

AdArmand Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Warren has been in relationships with Diane, Julie Christie, his current wife Annette ... all of them have this remarkable femininity but powerful independence and intensity. Having a sister in Shirley MacLaine too - i envy him having these extraordinary women in his life.

ub3rskillz Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I guess there giving those awards out to anybody these days. I can't stand this woman. Maybe it's her color lensed glasses or her lame chick flick humor but i can't stand her. She's almost as bad as Queen Latifa. I didn't intentionally search her name to troll the video either i started on fart videos and somewhere this ended up as a link. Sorry to all middle aged women i might have offended.

jazziefiz18 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - hey why don't you go to hell sir i love diane keaton and why don't you get a life

Frye666 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - wow she looks great, and moved me.. what a great actress and person!

Tigerlily21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - yeah on Charlie Rose, Warren was like who wouldn't be interested in Annette, Julie or Diane because they are such interesting people. They were also the longest loves he had in his life. And they are all interesting women that do have this vulnerability but are so independent. Julie Christie and Diane Keaton are so free spirited. That's what they have in common.
