LordXmen2k Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - Hopefully this ad will be run in more states it completely uncovers the truth about McBush
EAStronghold Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - Thank you AFL-CIO. I can't believe McCain is saying he's a friend of veterans. He's just another dirty politician that is flaunting his war record. Wesley Clark was right, being shot down and being a POW doesn't give you the presidency.
ecertal Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - Wow!!!!! In your face ad and straight on the issues. I love this...this is in my favorite. thanks AFL-CIO. We need you to honor us.
mindlessmissy Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - These are the REAL straight talk ads ... NOT those being pushed by the RNC or McBush camp or even the Illegally funded VFF Camp ...
CaliBeach0007 Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - "...create jobs needed here at home." Nope, I'm sorry. Bureaucracies don't create businesses and jobs. Entrepreneurs do. Funding schools and roads? Well, if Sen. Obama and others didn't earmark billions of dollars for wasteful pork-barrel spending, there would be plenty more to augment already bloated education and transportation bills. And since when can't government do more with less? We all make a budget. We can't afford failed 1970s-style liberal policies. We can't afford Obama.McCain '08!
CaliBeach0007 Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - John McCain 2008! A voice for working America!
alank97 Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - — Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America gave McCain a grade of D for his record of voting against veterans. (By contrast, Obama got a B+.)-- Disabled Veterans of America noted McCain's dismal 20 percent voting record on veterans' issues. (Obama had an 80 percent.)-- In a list of "Key Votes," Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) notes McCain "Voted Against Us" 15 times and "Voted For Us" only 8 (Obama voted for VVA 12 times, and against only once.)
EAStronghold Says:
Jul 9, 2008 - To the Republicans that say we can't afford "Obama's Liberal Carter policies" here's the counter, we can't afford "George W. Bush/John McCain's Compassionate Conservative" policies. I don't know about you but Bush is the Jimmy Carter of the 21st century.
mishaz57 Says:
Jul 10, 2008 - keep it coming. keep 72 year old mcbush out of the whitehouse
dsiebot Says:
Jul 10, 2008 - this is bullshit, I wrote an article, it said you can only post 500 char I only had 164 to go and it would not let me post. I am agaist the AFLCIO backing Obama, he was never in the military in this country. He is a lier a cheat and fraud.
dbetzel Says:
Jul 10, 2008 - Let's not forget about the money that we'll need for the Spanish classes that O'Bama is recommending...Change..it's what O'Bama promises and it's all you'll have left.
Zona992006 Says:
Jul 12, 2008 - Your comparing us learning another language to McSame's stance on our military? Thats all you have? Wow. Keep in mind, McCain voted against the GI bill and Bush thanks HIM for his help with it?
dbetzel Says:
Jul 12, 2008 - I would trust the stance of McCain over Hussein's on the military any day of the week. McCain did not vote against the DEMOCRATIC GI BILL FOR THE 21ST CENTURY. He obstained. As would I, considering the "WONDEROUS" timing of such a bill that is amended out the ASS with pork for all kinds of social programs that they can't cram down our throats during the normal every day screw-U.S. fest called congress. Where have these wonderful democrats that want to save the miliary been for the last 8 years?
Yekrats Says:
Jul 15, 2008 - McCain didn't "abstain". That implies that he showed up for work. McCain hasn't bothered to cast a vote since April 8. He has the worst attendance record of any Senator in the current legislature. It must be nice not showing up for work and getting paid for it! I guess it's much easier being a mavericky maverick when you don't take a side!
tomsoppe Says:
Jul 15, 2008 - The media's priorities are out of whack.Clark got in trouble for pointing out the fact that McCain's military misfortunes don't make him automatically qualified, whereas the media as always give Saint McSame a free pass on how he himself doesn't support vets health care that he benefitted from.
mjensater Says:
Jul 15, 2008 - hahah dumb Americans, how poor do you people want to get?100 more years in Iraq and you people wont be able to buy rice! LOLZ
eplouie Says:
Jul 15, 2008 - ... and dsiebot can't spell worth a damn, even with 500 characters to spare....
dbetzel Says:
Jul 15, 2008 - You are correct that in CURRENT session he has the worst record 102 out of 102, and Obama is 100 out of 102. And Barack Obama has voted with a majority of his Democratic colleagues 96.0% of the time during the current Congress. This percentage does not include votes in which Obama did not vote. And this is a DEMOCRAT controlled congress. So Obama SHOULD be able to show up and vote blindly, so what's his excuse? Or did you just want the blurb of "Worst Record"?
SoINeedAName48 Says:
Jul 18, 2008 - Powerful and well-done.
EasyEs Says:
Jul 18, 2008 - I don't know about his Funding for war Vets but Americans you guys are not going to get any higher in the school standings by throwing money at your kids. My country and many European countries out preform you in education because we have a better system. The Iraq war isn't making your kids worse students. The Idea you can throw money at the problem and it will get better is however.
blazak Says:
Aug 1, 2008 - According to The Wall Street Journal, Wal-Mart is so intimidated by the very possibility of a unionized workforce that its supervisors have been holding mandatory meetings essentially telling employees to vote against Democrats and Sen. Barack Obama this November.
chicagoken Says:
Aug 14, 2008 - Great ad!
