The wonderful Svetlana Zakharova while still with the Mariinsky Ballet dose one of the staples of the classical american repertoire.I personally feel that while she is a beautiful classical ballerina she dose excel in these types of works in my taste a bit more then in the traditional classical repertoire.I dont want to say she is in-expressive because interpretations are internal and personal and perhaps it is I that dont understand what he is trying to convey. However here she uses everything she has her amazing line and elegant demeanor make her one of the interpretations I have seen.

Nov 18, 2008 - I totally agree with you Paradiselost89. She absolutely excels in ballets like this one. Really beautiful! I personally prefer his in this rather than Giselle for example.
