FatalFist Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Have to admit, even on High with a 8600 GT I saw a considerable change in FPS rates between High and Medium and Max was like very slow.

turgoband Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - thats a misconception we can perceive up to and over 60 fps. but in general we don't need more then 60fps and anything less then 30fps lag can be noticed.

cdmanjak Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - the human eye cant see past 60 so thats just not true

dunlrock Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Thats not true at all. The human eye is different for everyone, certain people are able to see differences 60fps vs 40fps

SJOERDONLINE Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - nice!! but i have an overclocked 8500gt, would i be able to use a higher level that way?

chrisdietlmeier Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - is it on the : NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 1024MB TurboCache™ (256MB DDR3 dedicated, up to 768MB shared System Memory) thx

HAETMUNGOR Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - thats VERY high settings? at plain old HIGH it should run like a dream. not bad for a dirt cheap card :D

Headcrabb Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Its not really as much the framerate and the eye as it being the framerate and the feel, the response with the mouse.Televisions display an image 24 times a second for instance.Your monitor only illuminates 60 times per second, so you are kind of lying about being able to see the difference with 70fps..

dunlrock Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Most monitors I have at home are 75Hz~90Hz (maybe higher). My monitor has a max of 85Hz and that means 85 cycles per second. 85Hz translates to a maximum of 85FPS the monitor can display.

Wouwousoft Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - You might not see the difference, but you certainly do notice the difference with higher framerates. I run Call of Duty 4 with about 125-250fps, and that makes a huge difference if you compare it with 60 fps.

mechi1993 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - ...whit a 8500gt...??

CitizenSoldier Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - was that memory speed on 4000 lol maybe 400 my eyes are decieving me

Headcrabb Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - But you can not actually see 250 frames per second.

brunoramosbr123 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - is not a 8500gt, impossible

acap9494 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - bro...Try this C.U.D.A.A.T.S mod then cmment k....

PrinceSemarak Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - I got the same spec as you except Im using AMD Dual Core 2.2Ghz. My 8500GT is 512MB. Unlike yours, My game is really lag and move like dancing robotz-dance. Now Im dlding C.U.D.A.A.T.S, I hope it work like yours.

Wouwousoft Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - True, but you notice the difference when your aiming, shooting, etc...

IRTEHHAX Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Ehhm, the human eye sees everything, everything, its just really slow at sending the stuff it sees to the brain, and the brain cant render everything so we actually see it.. So it varies from guy to guy to girl to dog, people might see difference from 70 fps over 50.. it all depends..

sugerdemon Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - as if. my 8500gt runs crysis like a bitch. multiplayer is just ridikulas cant aim at anything becouse of laglucky im getting a 9800gtx+ soon :P

mihaelmartinovic Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Instal the whole new driver 178.24 and then give it a try.And on what resolution you are running.if it hasnt any effect then reinstal crysis.and if then isnt working that is really not an 8500gt.
