Nov 19, 2008 - A rare sequel that manages to outdo Episode 1. A devastating indictment of the American healthcare system--and a frolicking good dramedy--all rolled into one nail-bitingly poignant piece of cinema! You make us care about these youth! And root for the demise of Brad O'Neill, the Doctor, and that shadowy steroid dealer. Good, good show!!!!

Nov 19, 2008 - I can hardly wait for the next episode. This is YouTubeTastically wonderful entertainment. What makes the "Get it up" series so excellent is the combination of great humor, plus a "Hoosiers" like sports underdog theme, plus a "House" like mystery illness theme, plus an ever so subtle "Brokeback Mountain" male friendship gone a bit far theme. Brilliant! I have a feeling that the credited Director is just a fake name and that the real Director is either Ang Lee or Martin Scorcese.

Nov 19, 2008 - Shocking! Poignant! Trenchant! Everything I want in a comedy--and more! (Cute guys, but who was that babe peeking her head around the door?)

Nov 19, 2008 - As a one-time professor of film history I feel ashamed that I omitted the most important filmic reference for this masterpiece. That is De Sica's Neorealist "The Bicycle Thief". "Get it up" explores the Marxist subcurrents of class and wealth brilliantly. Having the protagonist appear, ON HIS BICYCLE, at the Country Club was pure genius.
