Kim and I talked for a while more. Frankie came over with Angelica behind him. "Nick, I'm hungry!" Frankie said. "Okay, we'll go get something." I turned to Kim and looked at her. "Sorry, I got to go. Put your number in my phone and we'll hang out soon." I smiled and handed her my phone. She took it and put her number in it. She handed it back to me as she smiled. We stood up and I gave her a hug. I waved to her and walked away with Frankie, carrying Angelica. We got in the car and we went to Wendy's. We got home and my mom took Angelica and carried her to her room. She came back out a few seconds later. "Nick, you really need to get some rest. I'll take care of her, just go rest for a while." "Thanks mom." I huged her and walked up to my room and fell on my bed face first and layed there. I felt my phone vibrating. I threw it across the room and heard it hit something. i didn't bother to get up. I got under the covers and fell asleep soon after. *Kim's POV* I just gave Nick Jonas my number. I saw him get in his car and drive off. I jumped up from the bench and screamed in excitment. I grabbed my guitar and went "home". i walked in the front doot as quietly as possible. I heard something break and so I quickly ran up the stairs closing and locking my door before he found me. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and I went into my bathroom. I turned on the shower. I got in and washed up quickly. I dressed and walked into my room seeing my little sister on my floor with a puddle of blood around her. I started to panic and picked her up and wraped my wet towel around her head and sat her in the back seat of my car and drove her to the hospital. I entered and a few doctors ran up to me and took her. One asked what happened. "I don't know. I was in the shower and I came back out and saw her on my bed room floor with a puddle of blood around her." "Are you or your parents abusive to her?" "My, stepdad is." I said reluctantly. "Okay, I'm going to call the police down here so you can explain this so them. All i need is your permission for her to go in surgery." the doctor explained. "Yeah. just don't loose her." She nodded and I sat in the waiting room. I saw police walk in, they were talking to the lady at the front desk. She nodded and pointed over to me. I looked down as they came over. "Kim?" I looked up nd put on a fake smile. "We got a call about child abuse?" "Yeah. My stepdad has been doing that to me and my sister since my mom's death. He's always drinking and abusing us. Me alot in the past 2 years. And then my sister just recently." An officer was writing stuff down. I continued as he looked up. "This is the worst he's done." I paused as tears stung my eyes. "How did your mom die?" "She was in a car accident about a year ago. She t-boned someone on accident. The person didn't stop at te light." He wrote more down. "After that he became abusive." "Can we get your address?" "2003 Sumac Dr." I said. "Okay, wait here for your sister and get any news on her so we can have proof for the trial." I nodded as they walked out and left. *Nick's POV* I woke up to hear sirens and I immedietly looked out the window and saw it was the police. I saw them turn. I shrugged and turned on the TV in my room. I decided to text Kim. Nick- hey its Nick J Kim- heyy Nick- wat'cha up to? Kim- sitting @ da hospital Nick- WHAT Y?!?!?! Kim- sister. Nick- care to elaborate? Kim- I'll explain when we hang out...whenever that is. its hard to explain Nick- oh ok Kim- anyway how's everyone? Nick- good Kim- good. Nick- how r u holdin up? Kim- eh. okay i guess just a lil scared. Nick- I no how you feel. Kim- u do? Nick- not really but hoping u wld believe me lol Kim- lol :] thx Nick- 4 what? Kim- u cant see it but im smiling. I saw Kevin and Joe playing Guitar Hero with Frankie and Angelica watching them. I smiled at the sight and walked downstairs to go eat something. I got a poptart and then walked out of the house to go for a walk. I turned down the street and saw a guy being arrested. He looked drunk. I got this weird feeling in my stomach, I shook it off and kept walking. I found myself in front of a friends house and I walked up and knocked on the door. He answered and let me in. I saw a few more friends over and they greeted me. I sat down and just zoned out. "Nick, you there?" "Huh? Oh yeah. Sorry." "Who's the girl?" "W-what are you talking about?" "Nick we know you too well, when you are zoned out with a smile on your face it has to be a girl." "Okay, her name is Kim..." Everyone gasped. "What?" i asked. "What does she look like?" "Brown hair and her eyes change color. It's really awesome, she is easy to talk to and really funny..." "We should tell him..." "Tell me what?"10 comments
