Here is video of Sen. John McCain telling a group of Hispanic Veterans in Denver that, "Fortunately, Sen. Obama failed; not our military." McCain was speaking of Obama's attempts to block the Surge Strategy in Iraq, a failure in judgment McCain says he cannot conceive of in a Commander-in-Chief.

Jul 25, 2008 - Obama wanted them to fail! He and the entire Demo-crap party wanted them to fail they did everything they could to shoot them in the back just like Kerry did when he got back from Viet Nam and praised people spitting on other American Vets!

Jul 25, 2008 - nice spin, but since everything is going so well in Iraq then both of you are for leaving?

Aug 7, 2008 - McCain has always been for leaving Iraq in victory, its only coincidental that his view sounds the same as the Obamacrats who've always been for leaving since they thought we 'lost' to AQ, a bunch of ragtags savages with IEDs.The tragedy of all this focus on Iraq/Afghanistan is that there has been no serious discussion of who our enemy is. In fact we're at war with Islam today's Nazism that seeks to subjugate the world under its 7th century barbaric rule. WW3 is only just beginning.

utahu Says:

Aug 7, 2008 - I agree, no one really wants to talk about the elephant in the room. We need to divest our interests in such countries and learn to apply our technology toward self sufficiency at least with the necessities. These barbaric regimes should not hold sway over us in any way. I find that our best weapon in transforming other countries is not in our military. It's our culture. Advertising of our way of life I believe has done more to convert countries or overthrow bad governments than any war.

l1011l Says:

Aug 7, 2008 - utahu-while I agree that exporting our culture can help to some extent, I believe military conflict is unavoidable. The Islamic Iranian regime censors anything it considers a threat to its rule.Let's also not forget we have many millions of muslims living in the West-they're drowning in our culture but completely reject it. Over half of them want to get rid of democracy and Islamify our countries. Just like Nazism, we have to first eradicate Islam and then people will accept our culture.

utahu Says:

Aug 8, 2008 - Yes I agree that sometimes military action is necessary, however, I am very familiar with muslims here. I find that they are as varied and mixed in opinion, wants, and culture as any other group here. I don't think eradicating Islam is a good goal. It reeks of philosophical imperialism and is exactly what the nazis did and others. Many peoples here have started out as insulationistic and have become american/whatever. Islam is ruined by small misled extremists as all groups can be.

l1011l Says:

Aug 8, 2008 - I used to think like you until I did some research. Islam doesn't have some extremists, it is an extremist ideology which divides the world into muslim and non-muslim. The latter must convert be subjugated or be killed.Islam has an agenda for global domination and its winning. Its slaughtered over 270 million unbelievers enslaved a billion in its 7th century rule and has conquered 57 countriesIslam is today's Nazism-if we eliminate it no on will be harmed. If it takes over millions will die.

utahu Says:

Aug 10, 2008 - I will continue to research islam and other religions, but I have not come to the same belief as you. I hope that you are wrong and that islam reveals its compassionate side to the world. Many parts of christianity and judaism also feel that the "non-believers" are to be converted or thought of as lesser. It is a belief that crops up too many times in humanity. If there would be one rule I'd impose on all religions: "we are all equal in the eyes of the creator no matter what you may think."

utahu Says:

Aug 10, 2008 - If Islam wants to subjugate the world then it is up to the world and the true muslims to cut out that part of Islam and bring it in line with Allah's will. Other groups and religions need to do the same with theirs. As a species it is paramount we protect our home (Earth and all it is) and our species. It is all we have, religion should support that thought. Religions in my studies are not wrong or bad. Just some of the people in authority of them cause the problems.

l1011l Says:

Aug 10, 2008 - This is how muslims have conquered 57 countries by making everyone believe they are a benign religion like others-in fact its quite the opposite. Feel free to see sites/blog/videos in my profile to get up to speed. At first it will seem like they only have a few radicals but once you gain a familiarity with the religion, the answer will become obvious. I credit you for being open-minded and willing to research, that's rare among people nowadays. No one wants war but they are vital for freedom.

l1011l Says:

Aug 10, 2008 - Expecting muslims to change their religion would be like asking a psychopath to heal himself. Its the ideology of Islam that drives people to war, hatred and insanity.Religions are fine as long as they are accepted and treated as man-made myths. I'm personally a fan of Hinduism and Buddhism-I also admire native spirituality and animism. The trouble starts when people take these beliefs literally. Islam is the absolute worst of these since it endorses warfare to spread itself.
