I just bought this corolla and replaced the starter and changed the oil as it had alot of gas in it. I started it up and it ran good for about 30 seconds and started to die out. I'm thinking it could be the Neadle and seat. What do you think?

May 30, 2008 - what about changing the fuel filter? if it's old or been sitting a long time it'll probably be clogged.

Jul 8, 2008 - when I changed my timing belt, I got the cam gear 1 tooth off and it ran like shit. Also check your distributor placement, if its too retarded, itll run horribly. FIrst rotate it clockwise until it hits the stop, tighten the bolt and try again. This state is fully advanced, be careful! run high octane ro prevent pinging.
