Bob Dylan included this song on "Down in the Groove" (1988), which Rolling Stone magazine, in 2007, named Dylan's worst album. They may be right, but I really like his rendition of this song. It's an old country song, with the usual themes of love and adultery, which has been recorded by artists such as Hank Snow and John Berry, but Dylan made it very much his own song.I first heard it sung by Dylan, and my rendition is obviously based on his performance.
