But if you insist ...Isn't it funny how often atheists are being admonished for being vocal. Let's just remind ourselves of why that is.

May 19, 2008 - My experience with "your" version of religion, Jim, has been overwhelmingly positive. But I would be reluctant to call it religion. It's an acceptance that we, humans, are emotional beings as much as, if not more than we are able of rationality. And if we don't accept that about ourselves and learn to celebrate it we become less than human. But that is about as far removed from dogma as one can possibly get :-)

rozeboosje Says:

May 20, 2008 - 100% agree. Religion should have stayed back, but no they want to dictate everyone's life and education.

rozeboosje Says:

May 20, 2008 - It certainly has no place in science. I dare say it has no place in morality either. I struggle to think, in fact, where it WOULD have a place.

May 20, 2008 - i'd be damned if mccain is president. i know it would be more of the same as the bush administration. these christians are longing for the tribulation period, and I want someone in office to prevent that "era", and make these christian mofos get frustrated, lol. actually i want someone in office to completely alter everything that is supposedly prophesized....but most likely they will think of something that is in accordance with the bible nonetheless....they always seem to do.

rozeboosje Says:

May 20, 2008 - Well, there's nothing I can do about that, being European and all that. But if you're a U.S. Citizen, you know what to do come November! Good luck. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for ya, even though I'm not superstitious in the least :P

Jul 12, 2008 - religion is a disease and theists are victims, and those "holy" books are the viruses that infect the most vulnerable (young and/or simple) people.

rozeboosje Says:

Jul 14, 2008 - Yeah, some days when I feel particularly cantankarous I feel exactly like that :-)
