RATING: G, for families. No need to flag.Riding a bunch of 1976 model SITO (Otis in the weird, blocky font) escalators (with one pair observed from the elevator ride up), a 1998 model Schindler glass hydraulic elevator, and a mid-2000s Schindler escalator, all at Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth, Texas. Notice I do something experimental here with the escalator videos. The "Arena" is the part of the mall that has plasma TVs playing sports news above the escalators. It's right in the Sears wing. The music I am referring to, although not easy to hear due to my tiny phone microphone, is "Steppin' Out" by Joe Jackson from the 80s.The "Fashion" section is where Neiman Marcus and the Rave Motion Pictures theater are, and this wing is pretty much deserted; I guess Ridgmar, except for Neiman's and (Neighborhood!) Macy's, this mall isn't quite cut out for the high-end stuff. There is a kid's section in the middle of the mall, with a play area. You can see it while I'm riding in the Schindler glass elevator.Just a little tour of a mall I've never been to before - until now, for YouTube! (And on my way to my TCU tour back on President's Day '08!)
