My name is Francisco Feliciano ("Frankie") and I'm I was born in Dearborn, Michigan, USA on May 31, 1979 and raised in the city of Detroit. I'm Puerto Rican (Latino) and I speak English, Spanish and some Portuguese. I'm a very creative and unique person with an edge. I enjoy composing fiction stories and song lyrics, producing and listening to music, drawing, learning foreign languages and using the computer and Internet. On January 2001, I began toying around with a music-creation program via the computer. The only musical experience I had ever had was a cheap keyboard during my childhood. After learning to produce basic loop-based music, I also began composing song lyrics and recording vocals. But since I had never had any vocal training before, I looked at my music as only a hobby and did not bother trying to make a pursuit of it. Over the years, I improved and gained so much experience, with songs ranging from pop to dance to Latin to alternative to even industrial and goth. In the fall of 2005, I decided to separate my darker material from the rest of my music by adopting the name Failure Fanatic, wanting to still keep the 'FF' as my initials just like my real name, but with the first 'F' written backwards to symbolize wings of freedom. The meaning behind this new name is that it reflected my past and present, from life experiences to the way of my thinking and lifestyle. By 2006, I ended up with over 150 songs in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, including remixes of existing songs. And I continue to make as many songs as possible until the day I retire from music. Finally, on April 18, 2007, I met DJ/remixer/producer Peter Tanico (DJ Peter T), owner of Exit 39 Productions, through Sony's Acid Planet online music community. Peter believed that I had enough potential to become successful in the music industry.
